לאור האירועים ובאופן התואם את הנחיות פיקוד העורף, האוניברסיטה תעבוד במתכונת שבת, 
דהיינו לא יתקיימו לימודים, בחינות ומעבדות. 
העבודה בקמפוס תתקיים במתכונת מצומצמת ויינתנו שירותים חיוניים בלבד,
כדוגמת מעבדות ניסיוניות מסוימות, ובתיאום מראש באמצעות סגנית הנשיא למחקר. 
בנוסף עקב המצב כל הספריות יהיו סגורות.
