The High School Academy – High school students can pursue degree studies at the Faculty of Engineering

The Faculty of Engineering at Bar-Ilan University actively promotes and nurtures a passion for engineering studies among exceptional high school students. Through its high school academy program, students can embark on degree studies while still in high school. The carefully designed curricula of this program aim to equip students with a comprehensive and contemporary understanding of various engineering specializations. This education prepares them to become skilled engineers and facilitates their seamless integration into industries rich in knowledge, enhancing their contributions to ongoing developmental initiatives.

The program begins in the summer after the 10th grade and spans four years. During the summer, students must take at least two academic courses:

  • Discrete Mathematics
  • Linear Algebra 1

Admission to the talented youth program is based on grades from these summer courses and a matriculation grade in mathematics (5 study units).

Conditions for admission to the engineering track (at the end of the first year) include:

  1. Full compliance with the first-year curriculum, including the two summer semesters (end of 10th and 11th grade).
  2. It is essential for a student to complete all the courses outlined in this curriculum with success.
  3. A minimum grade point average of 75 in the first year, calculated for all courses listed in the first-year curriculum (end of 10th grade), excluding the summer semester at the end of the 11th grade.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering Single-Track:

The computer engineering curriculum features core courses in key subjects such as computer architecture, computer communication, design of digital hardware systems, introduction to information security and computer networks, computer graphics, algorithms, and systems for IBM. Foundational courses in computer science complement these courses. Additionally, the computer engineering program offers four specialization tracks, and students can choose one track based on their interests and goals.

Bachelor's degree in computer engineering Combined with Physics (Post-Degree Course):
