הרקע לפרויקט:

This project focuses on evaluating the stability of antibody-conjugated gold nanoparticles under various conditions and using different linker molecules. By investigating how different linkers and conditions affect the stability and integrity of the conjugated nanoparticles, the project aims to identify optimal combinations for enhanced performance in biomedical applications. This research will provide valuable insights for the development of robust and reliable nanoparticle-based technologies.

מטרת הפרויקט:

The purpose of this project is to systematically assess the stability of antibody-conjugated gold nanoparticles using various linkers under different environmental conditions. This will help in identifying the most effective linkers and conditions to ensure the stability and functionality of the conjugated nanoparticles for applications in diagnostics, therapeutics, and other biomedical fields.

תכולת הפרויקט:

1. Literature Review and Selection of Linkers:
- Conduct a comprehensive review of existing literature on linkers used for antibody conjugation to gold nanoparticles.
- Select a range of linkers (e.g., thiol, amine, PEGylated linkers) for experimental evaluation.
2. Synthesis and Conjugation:
- Synthesize gold nanoparticles and conjugate antibodies using the selected linkers.
- Characterize the conjugated nanoparticles to confirm successful attachment of antibodies.
3. Stability Testing:
- Design experiments to test the stability of the conjugated nanoparticles under various conditions (e.g., different pH levels, temperatures, ionic strengths, and biological media).
- Monitor changes in nanoparticle size, shape, and antibody integrity using techniques such as dynamic light scattering (DLS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).
