Integrated Current and Temperature Sensor using Ring Oscillator Amplifiers
תיאור הפרויקט ותכולתו:
Modern integrated circuits can exhibit large current transients between sleep states and high performance states. These current transients can be difficult to manage, and can cause problems in the IC’s performance. In this project, you will design an integrated current sensor which is capable of monitoring these transients so that they can be controlled and limited. The current sensor will be based on ring-oscillator amplifiers, assisted by some analog biasing circuitry. The output of the ring oscillator are read out by some simple digital circuitry. It is also expected that temperature can be measured by this circuit. This is an original idea whose successful implementation can result in an academic publication.
