תיאור הפרויקט: 

One of the major applications for a PUF is to use it as an identification or authentication primitive, either by using its inherent biometric properties or by using it to derive a device unique cryptographic key. Design of robust and reliable PUF for cryptosystem requires significant reliability of the generated key on one hand and uniqueness of on the other hand. The purpose of this project is to build PUF primitive based on SRAM cell with desired reliability propertied.

תכולת הפרויקט:  

The project includes building a setup of physical unclonable function based on SRAM cells and integration of the cell into an array that is capable of generating key based on challenge submitted to the module. The array will be characterized at various conditions using Monte Carlo simulations and statistical model should be made to allow evaluation of the module and extraction of the PUF properties and optimization flow.
