Synthesizable Low Drop-Out (LDO) Voltage Regulator

תיאור הפרויקט ותכולתו:

Project Description – As processes scale to advanced generations, it is more difficult to design analog circuits.  Therefore, attempts are made to move some analog functionality into the digital domain.  In this project, you will design a Low Drop-Out (LDO) voltage regulator with a minimum of analog components, such that it can be digitally synthesized.  The loop stabilization will be accomplished by a digital filter, instead of an analog compensator.   The project involves studying the prior-art, MATLAB simulations as well as developing the basic cells for synthesis, and then implementing the LDO in Silicon.
